ThreeBirds’ artist co-working space is designed to be an inspiring and inviting working community. Our studio is centered around an antique Hunter-Penrose LittleJohn etching press, perfect for pulling monoprint, woodblock, linotypes, drypoint, and other etching processes. A celebrated maker of printmaking supplies, Hunter-Penrose has been building fine presses since 1890. In addition to the press room, we also have our drawing/plateworking “morgue,” slop sink, cabinet space for supplies, and a separate drawing room with flat file. The cafe is just a few feet away so coffee and snacks are always close at hand! No experience is required and we welcome anyone with an interest in printmaking to come and say hello.

Our press has a bed size of 28x48 inches.
